Does my car need an MOT?

 Any car or vehicle that is 3 years old or more is required to pass an MOT test and hold a valid MOT certificate every year. 

Is an MOT test the same as a car service?

No, your MOT test checks some important items on your vehicle to ensure they meet minimum legal standards but the test does not check the condition of your cars engine, clutch and gearbox.
